Events to support Autism families:

This organization is for all the caregivers of autistic children who are constantly pouring from an empty cup.

Constantly supporting your child but no one supporting you. We understand how isolating this journey is. Each event is catered toward autism families. A place where you come as you are, no judgment, no questioning , just support for your family. Come to an event where everyone shares your journey, a place that feels safe and embraces your autism journey. We are so glad you are here!

What Our Events Look Like:

Family Event for Autism:

Our Autism Family Event had over 90 people attend!! Every family that attended the event has a child with autism! Autism is isolating, exhausting, challenging, and often requires families to stay home from certain activities… so families often do not go out together because it’s so hard. But Pockets of Peace is here to change that because every family deserves a place to experience all things a typical family does! This tailgate is where all families with autistic children were embraced, celebrated, loved, encouraged, and hopefully felt at peace at a big event. We catered this event 100% to autism. We hired trained RBT autism therapists to support the families and children. We had bouncey houses, balloon sensory globe, sensory bins, 2 sensory quiet rooms for any child who needed a quiet space, sensory toys, food, snacks, and anything else a family with autism may need!! Autism doesn’t come with a manual but it does come with support…. Every family deserves to be embraced and supported, and that’s exactly what we do.

Morning of Peace: Meet Up for Women Caregiver

This is a meet up for moms, grandmas, mother in laws, sisters, or any women caregivers of autistic children. we want you to come for a morning to fill up your cup. Come for support, come to hear other women's stories who understand your journey, or just come for a hot cup of coffee! This morning is all about you, and having a morning of peace.
